Erik Hjorliefson Wins the 2006 Canadian 30K Tour

This guy Erik Hjorliefson is from Winnipeg, MB, Canada, and I've had the pleasure of playing him many times.

I've seen him develop from "a kid with desire", to "a young man with a great game".

He has had some great showings in the past, like beating all the top guns (Strickland, Pagulayan, Archer etc.) on the way to a 9th at the U.S. Open.

If he ever decides to make pool his top priority, I believe he could be a real force.

If the sport will ever become more financially rewarding, I believe we will see a lot more great talent coming up. Its too bad that so many have to decide between making a living and giving pool a real chance.
