Nipple Rage - Billiard Term Definition

Definition of Nipple Rage

Nipple Rage is a billiards slang term that is a part of Skill Level Terminology.

In cue sports, a pool player might experience nipple rage after executing a shot whereby the object ball comes very close to going into the intended pocket, but fails to do so because it ricochets off of one or both of the nipples (or [cushion points](/billiard-terms-definition/points "Definition of Cushion Points in Billiards)) which form the opening of the pocket.

Nipple rage might also be experienced when a player's cue ball - that is - it is sitting in the [jaws](/billiard-terms-definition/jaw "Billiards Definition of Jaws of a Pool Table) of a corner pocket as such that the path to an object ball is blocked by the pocket's [points](/billiard-terms-definition/points "Definition of Points in Billiards).
