Definition of Business

Business is a billiards slang term that is a part of Gambling and Betting Terminology.

Business is a billiard term that refers to the unsavory collusion between opponents to prearrange who wins a billiard match on which other people's money is wagered. The idea here is that the losing player receives a cut of the gambling proceeds for his or her effort in the collusion.
