Definition of Hustle

Hustle is a billiards slang term that is a part of Gambling and Betting Terminology.

Hustle, in terms of cue sports, is a gambling term which is applied to pool players who intentionally exploit players of lesser skills and or smarts for financial gain. In a more general sense, the term hustle means to cheat. If you want to hustle another pool player, you normally set out to intentionally mislead other players about your actual pool playing abilities and exploit that variance by gambling with them and sweaters.
