Matched BHQ Cue Set for Floyd
I am building these for Floyd (Billiards Forum member ccn7). The set will include a BHQ jump-break cue and a BHQ playing cue.
They will feature purpleheart shafts and also a maple player shaft. Both of these BHQ custom pool cues have purpleheart rings, except the buttcap. I cooked the rings in the oven to darken them and it worked almost too well, and they came out a little darker than I wanted them to. I never said that I knew how to cook!

BHQ on 8/15/2007 7:03:32 PMI've never heard of a cocobolo wood shaft. It would probably weigh a ton. But i'll try anything once.
