Value of a 10 Foot Brunswick Century Snooker Table
This is my 1930s Brunswick Balke-Collender "Monarch Cushion" snooker table.
It is 10 x 5 feet in size, and sits on six legs. It has leather drop pockets and chrome cast steel covers (full set). The slate is 3 pieces and is very thick.
The present cloth is in nice condition, with only some playing marks, but no holes or tears. It was set up by professional pool table movers. The rail rubber is in top shape, and is very active.
I have had this pool table for about 30 years. My friend had it in a rec room for about the same length of time.
I have the full snooker ball set and a matching sized pool ball set, and two cues for it, all in near perfect condition (with a slightly yellowish cue ball on one set).
At 81 years young, my eyes can't aim very well anymore.
I would like to sell it for a decent price but I realize that in spite of it's perfect condition, many snooker tables on Internet market places are for sale for a very low (even ridiculous) prices.
Can you identify this Brunswick snooker table and tell my how much it is worth?
The Brunswick factory was not any help.
Five pictures show as many details as I could pick out.
Please contact me for any clarification.
I am in San Clemente, CA. I can be reached at (929) 973-2051 most any time.
Thanks a lot,
Gregg Paris

billiardsforum on 2/28/2026 4:14:54 PMYes, it is a Brunswick "Century" model snooker table, as you likely saw here:
The longer you can hang on to it, the better price you'll get for it. Just considering the size of room you need for a 10-foot snooker table, that alone probably cuts your potential buyers way down.
I think the strategy with this one, due to the "buyer's market", and it's size, would be to simply post it, starting at the amount you feel is right. You can gauge by the level of interest if you're too high or too low.
You could pull in a $2000 to $3000, give or take, from the right buyer. But also, depending on the market and the supply of buyers in your area, it could be far less.
It is not uncommon to see tables offered up for free in some cases.
For antique pool and snooker tables, top dollar is only achieved from those in top condition e.g. fully restored, etc. With yours, the aprons (sides) appear to be in good shape, and the chrome castings also in great shape, but the rails are quite dinged and in need of a re-finish (e.g. not up to par with the ones which would fetch top dollar).
It's a beautiful Brunswick Century snooker table though, I wish you luck in finding the right buyer!
