Tefco master spots?

Tefco master spots?

I just got a new pool table and was wondering if someone could tell me where exactly the master spots go on the table? I don't want to screw it up. Thanks in advance.

Thanks for the question, and welcome to the billiard forum.

Take a piece of string and affix it with tape it to the top center diamond on the end rail.(This is the end where the player breaks from.)

Stretch it all the way to the bottom rail and tape it to the center diamond on that rail.

Next, run a piece of string across the center diamonds on the long rails. Where teh two pieces of string connect in the center of the table is where the spot should be placed.

I hope this is what you had in mind. Let us know if you need more help.

I have seen others suggest waiting until you have played on the table for about a week or two. They say that they cloth stretches or something, which can throw your markings out of place. If the cloth needs tightening, you will be able to do it before you affix the Tefco Master Spots.

Yes, you affix them in line with the middle diamond on the side rails and the middle diamond on the head rail.

You can also see this post on tefco master spots placement. It includes a diagram so that you can easily visualize.

Thanks! This tip was helpful for me too as I was trying to deal with the pool table spots.
