I just purchased a home in Elmhurst Il and the homeowner left this 9-foot Brunswick Balke Collender pool table behind.

Can you tell me anything about this antique pool table?

What I thought was pretty cool was the cast iron metal swing out chalk holders.

    It is from the early 1900s, and is either a Brunwsick Saratoga pool table or a Brunswick Newport pool table.

    The Saratoga being a slightly higher-end model, and the Newport being an economical version having the same style (difference is in the construction methods underneath). See video in the first link below for detail on how to tell the difference.
