1950's "The Hustler" Pool Table

1950's "The Hustler" Pool Table

I am trying to identify a pool table with a name plate which says "The Hustler". It is a single-piece slate pool table with "The Hustler" stamped on its plaque.

Does anyone know anything about any pool table having that name?

The pool table was taken apart but its been stored and still looks like new.

"The Hustler" is the name of a popular 1961 movie about professional pool.

"Minnesota Fats" is the nickname of the then real-world professional pool player (and hustler) Rudolph Wanderone. This character was played by Jackie Gleason in the movie.

Due to the movie's popularity, there were many billiard-related products introduced with "The Hustler" branding, with "Minnesota Fats" branding, and/or both.

Your pool table is one example of such products.

In this case, it was made by Rozel Industries, a division of Armac Enterprises.

They're really not worth all that much (no "collectible" value). Price is typically just a function of what else is available in your local market at any given time.

Rather than repeating the info here, see this older thread on the same pool table:

    Hope that helps.
