Info and Value of Dufferin Banner Pool Cue and Others
I don't play pool, but I have found two pool cues while clearing-out the home of an 85 year-old woman who has gone into assisted living.
They are both in black cue cases and both are two-piece, 57" Dufferin pool cues. One says "Banner 19" and has the owner's name imprinted on it. This is the name of a woman who died at a very old age 30 years ago and I doubt she had played pool in a LONG time, so this thing must be very old.
The other one has no markings indicating model or weight. The Dufferin logo on both is red.
Both pool cues are in need of new tips.
The cue cases have zero information on them.
Can anyone tell me what I've got here, what they're worth, and how to sell them quickly?

billiardsforum on 2/8/2026 3:49:53 PMIt's tough to help without clear photos of the Dufferin pool cues, but here are some general comments on your questions:
- Dufferin made their very first pool cues in 1967, so that is the oldest they would be.
- Used Dufferin pool cues rarely command more than $100 USD, even in near perfect condition. There are a few select models (none of which match your descriptions) which have higher values, but even these typically sit around that $100-$150 USD price point and are limited to just a few specific rare models.
- There are some Dufferin cue collectors here. Read through the many responses to Buying Old or Vintage Dufferin Pool Cues and you'll get an idea of what I am trying to say above. Ignore the few who discuss prices in the $200-$500 range. That's unrealistic for a Dufferin pool cue.
Best of luck with the sale.

Thank you!
I'll post some pictures of the cues and sell at suggested recommended prices.
