Though Meucci claims to have "fine-tuned" the cues in the USA factory, in reality they were 100% finished for shipping overseas, and landed in the USA fully ready for shipment to dealers and customers.

Also, below, Meucci makes note of 100 of each cue being available. This is specific only to the "first shipment" and not to the entire production run(s). When asked, Meucci wouldn't confirm exactly how many were made.

Some of the major pool cue distributors in the USA sold the Medici line, including CueStix. A number of retailers have said they were not up to par and returned their shipments back to Meucci. Craig Rittel of Full Splice Billiards has referred to the Medici line of pool cues as "un-salable".

The Medici line of Medici pool cues were also sold on WalMart.com and maybe even in some Wal-Mart stores.

Meucci offered no post-sale support for Medici pool cues. They would not do warranty work on the cues, and you couldn't order replacement shafts, etc.

Introducing the new Medici Brand: Designed & Engineered for performance & beauty by Bob Meucci.

For your economic benefit, Medici cues are 80% manufactured by a premier offshore manufacturer and then fine tuned at the new Meucci factory in Byhalia, MS prior to shipping.

These six cues will be available for world-wide delivery on or about April 15th 2007. On that first shipment date there will be only 100 of each model available.

We will immediately start taking pre orders until all of the initial shipment is pre sold, which should happen very quickly.

Medici Series Cues Comments

My question is: What type of weight bolt do Medici cues have?

Will a regular modern Meucci weight bolt work in Medici cues?
