This shaft, the VBI IQ - PRO SHAFT was designed by my father for Bob Meucci and Jayson Shaw using over 35 years of hardwood lumber experience and feedback from the pros he developed the BEST for the best! There is no discount on this cue. Available only here! This special PRO shaft was designed with the best wood sourced for Bob Meucci by Val Beesley. The insert material has not been revealed, for proprietary reasons.
Info on the Louisiana Fleur-de-lis BMC VB-2 Cue from Chris Lawson - 2017-12-18 - Regarding QTY Produced
The man that had those cues made, Val Beesley, had ten made. He lives in Port Gibson, Mississippi. He is a close friend of mine. I was just out with him at the Mosconi Cup. We're rooming together for a week.
The cue is called the BMC New Orleans Cue or the BMC Fleur-de-lis cue. There have been 10 made. Val Beesley designed them had them made custom from Meucci.
Info on the Louisiana Fleur-de-lis BMC VB-2 Cue from The Cypress House (NOS Sale in March 2021)
Limited edition cue designed by my father Val Beesley. Called the "Fleur De Lis" / BMC VB2. Only 7 of these were produced, and the model is now OUT OF PRODUCTION! The shaft is a Meucci Pro Shaft but the ferrule and insert were sourced by my father and creates a very light shaft. We also sourced the shaft material so this is PRIME grade wood that went into this cue. I love the way these shafts play and would be happy to keep this as a player cue for myself. In fact I have kept 1 for myself so this is the last one.
It is an extremely nice cue. The BMC Fleur De Lis cue weighs 18 oz and you can add a bit of weight if you want. The shaft is light in the hand.
