Definition of Warrior
Warrior is a billiards slang term that is a part of Billiard Technique Terminology.
A warrior ball is a ball that is positioned near a pocket as such that a particularly positioned object ball being shot at that pocket will likely go in off it. Even if the object ball being shot at is aimed so imperfectly that if the warrior was absent, the shot would likely result in a miss. A ball usually becomes a warrior ball when the previous shooter was trying to bank the object ball to a pocket.
The helper object ball is called a warrior ball because it acts like a warrior in your battle to win the game.
Warrior - Usage
Thanks for the warrior. Too bad you couldn't have made that shot, but now you have left your object ball so close to the pocket, that I'll use it as a warrior ball to help me easily pocket my object ball in the pocket that you missed.
