Definition of Up To Speed

Up To Speed is a billiards slang term that is a part of Skill Level Terminology.

Up to speed refers to an increase, to the required or desired level, of skill and or ability of a billiard player. For example, if there are two billiard players who normally play together, and the player of lesser skill becomes better as such that he or she is now as good as the other player, the first player is said to be up to speed in that situation.
