Definition of Rail First Shot

Rail First Shot is a billiards term that is a part of Billiard Technique Terminology.

A rail first shot is a type of billiard shot where the cue ball deflects off the rail prior to heading to strike the intended object ball, and thus, ensuring a better position for some certain shots.
