Definition of Heads Up

Heads Up is a billiards slang term that is a part of Skill Level Terminology.

In competitive cue sports, players compete heads up when there are no handicap privileges afforded either players. Players normally play heads up when they are evenly skilled. Heads up matches normally make for more exciting billiard play.
