Definition of Freeze Up

Freeze Up is a billiards slang term that is a part of Gambling and Betting Terminology.

The term freeze up refers to a dedicated and specific amount of cash that players will play to in a billiard match. In a freeze up of the funds, the players involved are required to continue play until one of the players has won the frozen up amount of cash.
