Definition of Cross Double
Cross Double is a billiards term that is a part of Billiard Technique Terminology.
A cross double refers to a bank shot that is executed as such that the cue ball crosses the future trajectory of the target object ball. Cross double shots are normally played into the center pocket due to the threat of the double kiss that can easily occur when trying a cross double into a corner pocket. Cross double is a term used primarily in the UK.
