    I'm afraid so. Really, it's a protection to our paying advertisers. Their paid placements are diluted when others post advertisements freely. It's just not fair to them, and since they are paying for their ads, they win in this case.

    No problem. I didn't intend to come off nasty about it - I just have to act swiftly and publicly because this sort of thing happens numerous times per day.

    The red flags went a flying when I saw a brand new member with their first post being an advertisement. Typically a long term member who contributes meaningfully to the forum first would be able to sneak in an ad here and there because they have already added value to the community.

    Welcome to the forums - I hope you find the tone conducive to helping others with their game. Once you become an established member, perhaps we can work something out.
