NO Free Billiard Advertising! Read!

Before you waste your time...

I normally don't post when I'm all worked up, but I need to make an example.

Let this be an example for those who think that I want to provide free billiard advertising. I don't. Advertising is what pays for this site's expenses, and as such, we don't want to give it away for free. If you want to advertise your billiards business, get out of the kiddie pool and stop trying to scam free advertising. It makes you look like an amateur. Both myself, and the members work hard to keep this community online. Your spam devalues this work, and it is unwelcome.

So, again, I remind all firms trying to get free advertising services - you are wasting you time. I guarantee you with 100% certainty that your billiard advertisement will be REMOVED immediately - like this one was. (within less than a minute) To post spam here will be the same as wasting 5 minutes of your life for nothing.

Spam is what you call littering your forum with Google ads.

No. The difference is that those ads provide a source of revenue solely used to keep this forum online (pays the hosting and other expenses) and to add new features. When users try to get free advertising by posting their ads in the forum, there is no benefit provided. Having google ads on the site helps keep all of the content and features free for users.

@billiardsforum, I was responding to a post looking for this item. I was under the impression that this is what the purpose of the site was . I am not a business owner I have a small collection of billiard items and thought the purpose of the site was to connect like minded enthusiasts in advancing the hobby of collecting memorabilia. This was not advertisement and i don't like to be scolded for trying answer to a request . I would be more than happy to discuss this matter further with you.
