New Cocobola and Birdseye Cue for BHQ's First Customer

This cue is going to Steph (staffi01) in Germany. He was one of the first guys from AZB to get a cue from me way back when. Actually, he bought two. A Brunswick conversion playing cue, and later, a jumpbreak cue. Both of those cues were done on my repair lathe, which is what I used before I had my metal lathe. Back then, I did not have the ability and/or tooling to do what I can do now. You have to have the right tools, period.

I always wanted to get another cue to him, since he was one of the first to have faith in me, and this is it. It is a 59" Cocobola and Birdseye BHQ cue with a radial pin. It weights 15.5 oz, and at 12.65MM, it has a Talisman medium tip on a LBM ferrule.

So here it is:

I need a photography lesson! There is things, white spots, particularly on the buttsleeve, showing in pics that aren't visible on cue. What am I doing wrong?
