Captain's Lineup Calculation App for Skill Cap Based Leagues Like Apa or Tap

I'm Matthew Landry, an APA/TAP player in upstate New York. I built a lineup calculation tool for league captains called LineUp Magic (lineupmagic.com).

It generates all valid lineup combinations for 8-Ball, 9-Ball, and 10-Ball based on customizable skill caps and roster sizes, so it works with any league that uses skill level caps similar to APA or TAP rules.

Player can't make it? Just mark them absent and run it. The tool instantly shows every lineup that makes the numbers.

Want to test scenarios? Say there are two players you know you want in the lineup. Mark them "must play." Run the tool and it will show every lineup where those players are included (if the numbers work).

The main goal is to make it useful during league night. The generated lineup list gives captains options they can quickly look at when the other captain puts up or when it's your turn to put up. You can react on the fly as the night progresses instead of trying to do the math in your head.

You input your player roster for a team once, then update player cards when their skill levels change or you replace players.

The only thing you have to do on league nights is check a box for absent players, check a box if they "must play" for some reason in that format, and mark players as "played" each time a player starts a match.

No other input required.

Anyone can create an account. It runs as a web app, so no downloads or installs are required.

As someone whose team had to forfeit a match that would have sent us to Vegas, I know mistakes happen. This tool is meant to make lineup decisions fast, accurate, and simple so captains don't get burned by a numbers mistake. Whether you have a single team or you captain multiple teams or play in multiple leagues, it helps take a lot of the stress out of league night.
