Need Help on Pool Table Age

I'm trying to date when this pool table was from. It has been in the family for generations. Nothing on the table, nameplate lists a company that no longer exists. Back of nameplate has a number 10823, then with some sort of brand. Would 10823 be October 8, 1923? Any help?
