My New Table

I just purchased a new 8 ft. Olhausen York Table. I was wanting your opinions on the table because they have not delivered it and put it up yet. Its 1 in slate. Do you think got a good table?

    Hopefully i'm not disappointing you...

    The slate seam has broken on my five month old Olhausen York billiard table. You can see a line running across the seam on the cloth and there is also a slight ridge (and bump) in numerous spots across the seam.

    He got it fixed under warranty, and then another, worse problem happened a week later.

    There is a divot in the middle of the other slate seam.

    I also had a look at these when I was in the market for a new table. I did all of the research online, and couldn't find anything negative on these. (Other than the one above post.)

    I went with a Gold Crown that I got a good deal on.

    just wondering why you went with 8ft. Is this because of space restrictions of what. i believe tournaments use 9ft tables. and when i buy a table i usually get smaller pockets. the pockets on the tables the pros use can fit 2 balls across the pocket width and some can fit 2 1/2 balls. just wondering.
