I beleive I have my dad's snooker table in unassemlbe pieces in my basement. He was British and loved the game of snooker. I have been considering having the table reconditioned and assembled for our grandchildren to play. the one I have looks almost identical to the one in your picture and I was shocked to see the appraised price you quote. I have made an appointment in the next week with a man to come to give me a price for set up and refelting. I am glad I saw your post as he may have offered to buy it from me in my ignorance at some low offer. thank you and good luck with finding a buyer. The restored coming did tell my son over the phone that he thought perhaps we may have one of about 50 snooker tables remaining in the eastern United states.

Thanks for posting this amazing bit of history. That is a great snooker table.
$27,000 - that is amazing. You need to list it at one of the big auction houses, unless you have experience with eBay. eBay brings fraud and hassle for the seller, but the professional auction houses will charge you a hefty (in my opinion) commission fee on the sale. 20%+ I've heard.
Also, would either of you care to share the story of how you came to possess these tables? Also curious why are you selling the table...

I have a similar Brunswick Balke Collender pool table. I would like to send you some pictures if you could help me get an appraisal on it.

I know this is a long time since this was posted but if you still have it, have you ever looked at the bottom of the table from the floor up? I have a Brunswick Collender mini table and the name and model number are stenciled on the bottom.

I have a Brunswick Balke Collender snooker table. It is a 5' x 10' Brunswick Balke Collender Madison Six-Leg snooker table.
I would like to sell it but can't remember where the manufacturer's date plate is.
I think its under the end rail, but want to know for sure. Any ideas?
