Best Temperature for a Pool Table Room

Best Temperature for a Pool Table Room

I have just purchased an antique Oliver Briggs 9 ft pool table. I had it installed in a room above a detached garage. I don't intend to heat the space all the time, located in New England the temperature will get very cold out there at times.

Is this a concern for the playability of the pool table?

    You'll be totally fine.

Your main concern should be keeping the room completely moisture free. Also, keep in mind that when there are temperature changes from very cold, to very warm, and quickly, you get expansion and contraction. This may take its toll, but not nearly as much as moisture will.
