Identifying a Brunswick Balke Collender Pool Table

Identifying a Brunswick Balke Collender Pool Table

I am looking to identify a table that was recently given to me.

The name plate says:

Brunswick Balke Collender Monarch Cushion

I can't find anything like it online.

Thanks in advance!

This is going to be a tough one.

The Brunswick Monarch Cushions plate doesn't necessarily mean it is a Brunswick pool table. In fact there are design elements of this particular pool table that indicate to me that it's not necessarily a Brunswick Balke Collender pool table.

    • The leg style - I've not seen a Brunswick pool table with this leg style
    • The size of the diamond sights - These seem over-sized in a way that isn't typical of a Brunswick pool table.

I've been through the Brunswick Balke Collender catalogs from 1899 through 1940, and couldn't find anything that resembles this pool table.

I'll continue to keep an eye out. If you find any further information in the meanwhile, please let us know.
