Pool Table Rail Installation Sequence Clockwise or Counter-Clockwise?

Pool Table Rail Installation Sequence Clockwise or Counter-Clockwise?

I've received a disassembled pool table, and the rails are numbered 1 to 6.

The "head" of the pool table is marked.

Does rail #1 start at the head, and then do the numbers go clockwise or counterclockwise?

Unfortunately, there's no industry standard for pool table rail installation sequence, but there is a "most common convention" we can use as a starting point.

    1. Typically, the rail with the pool table's nameplate sits at the "head" of the table.
    2. From there, follow the numbered order in a clockwise direction.

Sometimes the way the fastener holes and/or pocket miters line up (or don't line up) can tell you if you're on the right track.

    Good luck!
