Montgomery Ward Baroque Model #60-92498 Pool Table

We just acquired an 8-foot pool table and didn't know much about it.

it wasn't until we found the manual in a box of accessories did we know it was an 8-foot Montgomery Ward "Baroque" pool table, model #60-92498.

We knew it was an old one, but not sure how old. Is it from the 1970s, 1980s? It is a 3-piece slate pool table with leather pockets. Do you have any insight?

Any insight on the age, quality and value of this Montgomery Ward pool table?

    This one looks to be a relatively newer (probably from the 1970s) residential-class furniture-grade pool table.

    The same style of owner's manual cover, but for the "Centurian" model, has been dated to 1972, so based on that I mentioned the 1970 date above.

    They're nothing special, but yours looks to be in good shape, and to be of relatively good construction (from what I can see).

    They're a "big box store" pool table, e.g. not likely one that any serious pool player would want to buy. Value would be $500 give or take a few hundred depending on your area and the volume of used pool tables on the market at any given time. It's a really poor market for used pool table sellers (has been, is, and will continue to be). There are just so many available at next-to-nothing prices.

    Thank you! We were guessing the pool table was from the 1970s as well.

    It is made from solid wood (chunky wood) and is in pretty decent condition. We are having it re-felted and will probably do some minor conditioning to the wood frame and legs.

    As we are not professional pool players, it will suit our needs fine. I will update pictures when it is completed.
