Identify "United Billiards" Pool Table "Established 1989"

Identify "United Billiards" Pool Table "Established 1989"

This "United Billiards" pool table was here when I moved in to my house and I don't have a use for it.

I was looking to identify it so I can sell it.

It's a standard 8 ft table (44 inches x 88 inches).

The name plate on the pool table says:

UB
United Billiards
Premium
Established 1989

Anyone recognize it?

This pool table is from the "United Billiards" - which is the "game room" side of United Spas based out of Salida, CA.

Their pool tables are residential "furniture-grade" pool tables. They aren't worth anything to the hardcore pool player, as that person will want a commercial-grade pool table.

Also, looking at the photos close-up, it appears to have been re-painted in that shiny black finish. The finish on the top of the rails doesn't match the edge. Original color would have been a walnut stain.

Either way, your pool table is a United Billiards "Lincoln" model:

Fluid-Passion... These two words wholly capture the intense impression, which the design of this table evokes. Reflective of the passionate leadership of Lincoln himself, the visceral beauty of this United Billiards’ creation stirs the soul. The undulating contour of the cabinet, rails and blinds, moves those that survey the Lincoln, and the warm walnut finish works to completely subdue the heart.

When you visit their website, ignore the $8000 MSRP. That's the modus operandi of retailers of these furniture-grade pool tables. Over-inflate the MSRP (by more than double), and then "slash" the prices by 50% or more.

I am pretty sure that the newer United Billiards pool tables are made in some shit hole overseas and shipped in boxes to the USA like American Heritage pool tables are.

Yes, I am 99% sure of that as well...

Companies like United Spas Manufacturing., LLC can have "white-label" pool tables made overseas by the container load. The manufacturer will slap on any name-plate you want, in this case, United Billiards.

All of the major Pool & Spa brands in the United States and Canada are doing this. Some hawk Brunswick or Olhausen pool tables, but most want the bigger margins and pricing flexibility that come with importing white-label pool tables.

I should have mentioned that in my original answer - This "United Billiards" (Established in 1989) has nothing to do at all with the "United Billiards, Inc." (or "UBI") company of Union, NJ that produced pool tables in the 1960s and 1970s.

I bought my kids a 1989 United Billiards pool table and I'm having problems finding new rails for it!
