ID Model and Year of Atlantic Billiard Table Co. Pool Table

ID Model and Year of Atlantic Billiard Table Co. Pool Table

I also have an old Atlantic Billiards table. I love it and will never sell it.

For a long time I have been trying to determine the exact model name and the year it was made but I have not had any success.

I am wondering if Atlantic Billiard Table Co. made it, or it is possible that it was re-branded as Brunswick? Any help pointing me in the right direction would be appreciated.

The individual parts are numbered 4044. I don’t think this is a serial number, but rather, a number identifying an assembly set.

@user1640660017 - It is impossible to know from those blurry low-resolution photos of your Atlantic Billiard Table Co. pool table.

Can you share some better, clear, higher-resolution photos of your pool table?

Does it have a name plate? If so, please share clear, close-up photos of that as well.

Also, please add detail as to why you might be thinking it's a "rebranded" pool table. I'm not exactly sure what you mean by that, so if you can add more detail around that, it may be helpful. Specifically, what information do you have that is causing you to think that?

Here are some details on my The Atlantic Billiard Table Co. pool table:

    • It has a 3-piece slate, at 1 inch thick.
    • It measures 60 inches by 110 inches.
    • The individual pieces are numbered 4044.

It looks to have it's original finish to me. I believe it was in storage for a long time before i got it.

Only the front two short tubes are original, and the four other longer ball return tubes were replaced by me. I made them from thick cardboard rolls that carpet comes on. It was done without any modification to the pool table at all, and were based on another Atlantic Billiard Table Co. pool table I saw.

I have always believed that this pool table was made by Atlantic Billiard Table Co., but, an answer on the topic "Atlantic Billiard table", by "guest" on 2013-01-30, stated they thought their table was a re-branded Brunswick.

I have an Atlantic table that looks identical to a Madison made by Brunswick from early 1900's. [...] the table is easily taken apart for ease of shipping just like the Brunswick. The name plate that says Atlantic Billiard Co is even the exact same size as the Brunswick name plate. I think that Atlantic either distributed this pool table from Brunswick and re-branded it, or it was restored by Atlantic Billiard Table Co. at some time in the 1940s-1950s. Does anyone have any input on this idea?

I'm wondering if there's any supporting information to that user's claim?

Any help on model number or year it was built would be greatly appreciated.
