The biography of American pool player Rudolf Wanderone, AKA "Minnesota Fats", one of the greatest pool hustlers of all time.

Rudolf Wanderone (Minnesota Fats)

Minnesota Fat's real name, in full is Ruldof Walter Wanderone Jr. He became one of the most well-known professional pool players and hustlers of his era.

His fame and notoriety landed him a job as the Executive Vice President of billiard table manufacturer Rozel Industries.

Rudy Wanderone made many television appearances in his day, including Johnny Carson's "The Tonight Show and the "David Frost Show".

Minnesota Fats had many product endorsements over the years, including a line of pool tables, a line of Minnesota Fats pool cues, and even had a few television shows of his own.

Wanderone died on January 15, 1996. On his tombstone, the epitaph reads: "Beat every living creature on Earth. 'St. Peter, rack 'em up. — Fats'"
