It's kind of cheesy, but here is the clip from "How it's Made" that explains in layman terms how a billiard cue is made and manufactured. Yes, it IS cheesy, which you'll see in the first sentence the narrator speaks: "Billiards is urban cool"

Anyway, the cue being made in the video is a Predator 4K-5. Apparently, Falcon used to manufacture the butts for Predator pool cues when their plant was in Missasauga Ontario.
