Cue Construction, Cue Building, and Cue Playability

Cue Construction, Cue Building, and Cue Playability

I want to start a category on cue construction, cue building, and cue playability and hit.

I know what makes a cue play well and hit good, and I know the high end woods and materials involved to make that possible, but I want to hear other people's opinions as well.

You mentioned in your other posts that you look for hard, dense woods and materials. I think that is a universally understood "requirement" in building a solid, long lasting, well-playing cue. You'll likely find a consensus on that part.

In general, there hasn't been much activity on the subject on this site so far, but it is certainly one which others have opinion on.

If more discussion starts happening here on cue making, I'll create a separate category for this stuff. For now it can live under the "Pool Cues" general subject area.
