Want to Buy an Original Abe Rich Pool Cue

Want to Buy an Original Abe Rich Pool Cue

I'm looking to buy an original Abe Rich pool cue.

Please let me know if anyone has an original Abe Rich cue for sale.

I'm looking for an original Abe Rich pool cue. I'm a wheel-chaired person with a broken back and have some paralysis. I live on a shoe-string budget but will do anything for the opportunity to purchase the right cue.

My Best,
Ronnie

    I have several of them.

How much are you looking to spend? They don't go for a lot unless they are particularly desirable like a Titlist conversion.

Abe Rich's Nephew has been slowly selling off leftover new ones on eBay as user hrichwood. Current cues he has for sale:

Abe Rich Vintage 1960's "Florida" Cue

    • Model: Abe Rich "Merry Widow"
    • NOS: Abe Rich 1960's Zebrawood "Florida Cue"
    • Forearm: Old growth, Nicely Grained African Zebrawood
    • Butt: Zebra with Nylon Wrap "Marbelette" Rings , Butt cap and bumper
    • Joint: Stainless and Black Rings
    • Shaft: Old Growth Canadian Maple with French"Micarta" fiber ferule and Buffalo tip
    • Finish: Hand Rubbed Lacquer

Abe Rich made his Florida cues from scratch and hand-turned all of his cues. He did not use any automated machinery for making his cues; he was the last "old school" Woodturner/Cuemaker. Abe made cues under the name Florida Cues from 1965 until 1973. That year, he moved his company to Miami Beach and changed its name to Star Cue. His cues are coveted by collectors and players worldwide. Willie Mosconi, Minnesota Fats and Jackie Gleason all owned Abe's Cues. Abe Rich was a unique individual who made such great cues that he was inducted into "The International Cue Makers Hall of Fame". Abe Rich passed away in November of 2008 at 83 years old, and this cue comes from his shop.

This cue is highly desirable and very collectible. Abe's cues are a tremendous value! A MUST FOR ANY COLLECTOR. Never Played NEW OLD STOCK!. This cue is NOS 50 years old.

I have either a 1969 or 1970 ABE Rich cue.

Have you ever seen this one?

What size tip does your Abe cue have?

    Does it have a pro-taper?
