Value of an Adam STR-4 Cue

Value of an Adam STR-4 Cue

How much is an Adam STR-4 cue worth?

Also, if anyone has any history on the cue or other info besides it's value, I would appreciate it. I wanted to know any info on it like it's production date, specs, and it's value.

It is really a nice Adams cue. It has an all-wood handle with little brass circles in it.

I am looking for any info on it like year of manufacture, etc.

I also want to thank you for the time you spend doing the research on these pool cues. It must be very interesting. Each cue has its own story.

Thank you again.

    Nice cue.

The Adam STR-4 is shown in an early 1980s Adam brochure. It is part of their "Superstar Lineup" series, as you likely already know.

    They were made in Japan.

As with the Adam STR7 cue, there isn't a whole lot of collector demand for these cues. Assuming you have the original shaft and it and the cue itself are straight, then you'd be looking at between $100 and $150, depending on a number of factors including overall condition, location, and the market in general.

    From the brochure:

    Thank you very much.

They probably cost more back in the 1980s than what they do now.

But, I still love Adam cues. They're good quality cue for a modest price.

    Thank you for your time.
