Here is another Schon cue my friend wants to use for partial repayment of a loan which he says I can sell for as much as $800. He doesn't do internet so he cannot sell himself. Can someone help me with value.

This last one he is offering for repayment of a loan from me is a Meucci which he says I can get $300-$400. I don't know Pool cues but have done lots of searching and can't find these exact cues. Your help would be so appreciated. I'm trying to be flexible with my friend but need my money back.

    As for models:

I can't help you much on the Schon cues... I see what you mean they aren't quite like the similar models in catalog pages, but possibly they are the following, with some adjustments for custom materials choices. As all the Schon catalogs state "woods and stains may vary".

    1. Schon SL9 - Original Schon list price was $944, but they retailed everywhere online for $695, so basically, $695 was the msrp.
    2. Schon SL5 (or possibly CX13, but less likely) - I can't tell 100% based on your pic - Original MFG list price on SL: $734, but retailed online at the time for $540.

As for the Meucci cue at the bottom, it looks to be a Meucci SE-3 (Special Edition #3), but only if it has the serial production number e.g. 1 of 250, etc. There were some prototypes and others made without the production numbers... and values vary widely for those. Can't really start to value the SE-3 until we know for sure what it is.

The values your buddy gave you seem reasonable... perhaps slightly high, if anything. If I were you, I'd take them on consignment... tell him he only has a deal if they sell, and you will take the sale price off the balance owed. Sucks you have to do all the work to market them though.

Thank you so much. Your info gives me confidence I could recoup most of my money. On the possible Meucci SE-3 where would my friend be able to locate the serial production number?

FYI, I split the topic out into a separate thread for the Meucci SE-III cue so we can keep this one focused on the topic of the two Schon cues. You can find my reply there.
