Helmstetter RCH VIP Pool Cue Value

Helmstetter RCH VIP Pool Cue Value

I have a Helmstetter RCH VIP pool cue.

I would like to know how much these Helmstetter VIP cues are worth in value.

Also, I would like to know around the time it was manufactured and the specific model number if this is possible.

This is from the Helmstetter V.I.P. line from the early 1990s.

The model number is Helmstetter RCH-VIP-I-7 (that's an upper-case i).

It retailed for $470 in 1992. Expect it to fetch between $250 and $700 depending on condition.

Of course that value will vary WILDLY from region to region and will also depend on how many other VIP-I7 cues are available for sale at the time, and many other factors, etc.

There are some "never chalked" RCH-VIP-I-9 cues out there going for around $900, so for a used I-7, expect way less.

    From the 1992 brochure:

    Important Cues for Important Players

    The RCH-VIP Line by R. C. Helmstetter

As I begin my 4th decade of cue-making, I am very proud to present our first Series for the 1990s. The RCH-VIP cues. They probably are the very best we've ever made. All RCH-VIP cues are made with either our classic stainless steel joint fittings or with our modern, high-impact resin joint. All cues are4 fitted with our latest Cerociteā„¢ ferrule and TWeeten LePro tips. We use no elephant ivory or other materials from endangered species.

For further information write or call: Adam Custom Cues, LTD.

Here is the cue in the 1992 Helmstetter / Adam Custom Cues brochure and price list from that series:

You have one of what? This cue, or a different Helmstetter cue? Need more details and some photos before I can help you.

I have a Helmstetter RCH-VIP-I-7 cue butt / bottom. I'm looking for a new shaft / top half for it.

    Any help would be appreciated.

@user1589648567 - I would be interested in purchasing your RCH-VIP-I-7 cue butt, OR, I could fit it with a new shaft for you.

If you are interested give me a call.
