2000 Players Professional Series Cue Value

2000 Players Professional Series Cue Value

How much is this Player's cue worth?

I don't know the model but I know it's a Player's cue. They don't make this run anymore. It has the Players cue "VIII" marked on the opposite side of the butt. It's probably the model number, or the color line. I don't know.

It has beautiful real inlays, great colors, and it's in perfect original condition. I will say actually that it's not "perfect" as it has wear on one shaft. This one has normal color change due to "chalk finger". The other shaft, matching, has never been used.

I probably find more value in it than anyone else would. I paid about $200 for it brand new. It was their top-of-the-line model at the time. I consider it a bargain considering what other cues that hit just like it were going for. I am just wondering if it would have increased in value or if it's just a hunk of pretty wood now and nobody cares.

Here are a few pics of the 2000 players professional series. What would be the value?

    Cool looking cue.

I don't have any catalogs showing the Player's Professional Series cues, so not sure of the exact model.

The "VIII" is an indicator of when it was made. In this case, I believe it means May of 2003 (or June of 2002, or July of 2001?). Either way, you have a ballpark.

Cues from this series wouldn't really have appreciated in value any significant amount.

Have the extra matching shaft in unused condition is nice.

Probably worth somewhere near what you paid. Like you said, probably worth more to you.

Thanks. Yeah, I couldn't find it anywhere. I know I bought it in 2000 for sure, that's when my other cues were stolen (a Meucci, and a Huebler Hustler).

I was in a pinch and hit with a few in the range I could afford, and settled on this one. Actually, I was very happy with it. Top of the line, no not by any means. It did the job looks super cool and didn't break the bank. Thanks for your help!
