Remove Broken Joint Pin Stuck in Shaft Insert

Remove Broken Joint Pin Stuck in Shaft Insert

How can I get a broken joint pin out of the shaft. It appears to have broken off in the shaft.

If you look closely at the picture, it has what looks to be the joint screw in it?

I wanted to see how to get that out. I thought that I could use pliers to twist it out, but don't want to ruin it.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

This should just come out with a vice grip, and you shouldn't need much pressure.

That is, if the previous user hasn't cross-threaded it when last putting it together. That could have caused it to snap perhaps.

If this is from the Budweiser cue, it's probably not worth fixing. Cue likely isn't even worth $20.
