How to Make a Rubber Pool Cue Wrap Sticky

How to Make a Rubber Pool Cue Wrap Sticky

I am wondering how to make a rubber pool cue wrap sticky?

I have a used Cue International Black Dragon pool cue I use as a break cue, and the rubber wrap has become slick. As a result, I've lost control during a break.

I was wondering if there was a way to make it tacky. Or maybe I should just cut it off and replace it.

Any help would be appreciated.

If your rubber grip has become slippery, it is probably best to replace it.

If you otherwise like the rubber grip, you could try replacing it with a heat shrink non-slip rubber grip which you can get for under $7 at amazon.com.
