Special Ordered Meucci Originals OL-2 Cue with Nicknames

Special Ordered Meucci Originals OL-2 Cue with Nicknames

I've never seen a Meucci Originals OL2 cue special ordered with nicknames.

The one in my photos says "Papa Bear" on the forearm. I also have another Meucci Originals cue in this set with "Slick Wilie" on it.

I can't find any info on them. If anyone who knows more about the cues, let me know please.

    I can only comment on the cue you've shown in your post - the Meucci Oldies #2 cue.

    Meucci will write, stamp, engrave, inscribe, or otherwise do anything you want to any cue you order, and this one is no exception.

    It definitely would have been ordered this way (not added after the fact). I recognize that font style. It's commonly used by Meucci for custom lettering, etc.

    Unfortunately things like this typically detracts from the value of the cue, as collectors generally want an un-marked version. It only increases the value if:

    1. The name is of someone significant in the cue sport industry (either a player—professional or amateur, or someone notable from the industry, etc., AND;
    2. You have documentation to show the provenance.

    It sounds like you have neither of those (as I assume you would have mentioned it if you did have something).
