Pool Cue with Checker Pattern

This was given to me and has no identifying marks like letters and such.

I have ruled out Huebler and Tad is unlikely. I'm grateful for any help.

    Take the bumper off... sometimes you'll find markings underneath.

    Also can you confirm if the checker design in inlaid into the pool cue or is it a sticker? Guessing it is inlaid, but It is hard to tell from the photos...

    This is inside the butt. And the checkers are inlaid
