    Hard to say.

    Right now I think it is a hobbyist cue maker. It does not match anything in my database.

    Can you post pictures of the joint and shaft? That could help.

    And specs, like length, weight, and tip diameter?

    I am looking at another basic ebony cue that I may pull the trigger on, then this pops up. I may be interested.

    Can you guys make out the name at all? "David Adler" perhaps?

    Also, what city did you find it in? I notice that a local cue maker's cues tend to stay concentrated in the area they are sold. This could provide another piece to the puzzle.
