Older Nick Varner Falcon Cue Id and Value

Older Nick Varner Falcon Cue Id and Value

I just picked up this Nick Varner Falcon cue in Florida while down for my wedding.

The guy I bought it from said he bought it from the original owner in Philadelphia about 8 years ago and it came with some documentation but was lost years ago.

I have been looking for two days on and off on the net and can not find the same cue. Any help with a model number and value would be great. I paid $250 for it and it pays great!

It is a Falcon cue from the 1990s, but I don't see it in my catalogs.

I have the Falcon catalogs from 1991 and 1993, and 1997 and it's not in those. I'm missing those from 1994, 1995, 1996, 1998, and 1999, so it's likely from within that time frame.

Sorry I can't help you further, but i'll continue to keep an eye out. Please let me know if you learn any more about it in the meanwhile.

I was wondering about all the documentation he was talking about when he bought the cue... I've never got much paperwork with cues I have bought in the past. It makes me wonder if it was a special model or a one-off cue. I seriously doubt it but possible I guess.

    Thanks for the help.

    I doubt it as well...

Documentation could mean anything. Most likely it would have been one or more of the following:

    • Original purchase invoice and receipt, outlining the purchase price, the retailer, the date, etc.
    • A brochure from the line it was from
    • Possibly some marketing materials from Falcon Cues (e.g. care instructions, etc.)

    $250 is a decent deal I think.

Again, I'll continue looking. I often come across cues people ask about after the fact, as I often look at hundreds of cues a day.
