Meucci Original with Red Meucci Originals Block Logo

Can anyone one help me identify this Meucci Original pool cue? The butt is black with "Meucci Original" written in red writing.

I have only seen one of these Meucci Originals with the writing in red.

I bought it in the early 90's from a bar owner who had been there since the early 70's. I have searched the net but cant find another one like it. Does anyone know anything about how to tell how old it is or why the Meucci Originals is written in red?

Any info you guys could offer would be appreciated. I was approached by someone that heard I had it and made an offer but I want to see what its worth before I sell.

    Did you ever find out what the story was behind the version with the red Meucci lettering?

    I do know that your cue is a version of EITHER: the Meucci MO-7, the Meucci Originals M6, or the Meucci Originals 84-5. (they are all basically the same cue, just remakes of the original). Still trying to narrow that down. It is most likely the M6 or 84-5 because of the flat butt cap. And the style of logo means it at least older than 1990. ( I believe they switched between 1985 and 1990 to the newer current Meucci logo).

    But still no solid info on the red Meucci Originals block writing.

    I did find one more Meucci Originals cue with the rare red Meucci Originals block logo. This one is a Meucci Originals 88-2 with the red Meucci block logo from the 1980s (mid to late 1980's). It was being sold (and did sell) for $325 in 2013 on the AZB forum.

    Concerning red Meucci Originals logo, I have one and I called Meucci and they said it was made for sale in Germany. It wasn’t sold in the US.
