Meucci Model and Value

Meucci Model and Value

Looking to find out the model number and value of this Meucci pool cue stick.

Got this cue used in 1990 or 1991 and I am curious of model and value.

You have a Meucci Originals pool cue and there are a few possibilities for which model it could be:

    • Meucci MO-7 pool cue - These had red veneers (generally) and the round pill-style rubber bumpers. It was common that they broke and were replaced with the flat style as shown in your photos. If if IS a Original MO-7 and the bumper was replaced, that affects the value. Can fetch between $350 and $600 depending on condition. (Top dollar comes for non-refinished versions in top condition).
    • Meucci 84-5 pool cue - again, same issue with the bumper. But there was also a Meucci 84 Series 2nd Edition which had the flat style bumpers. You can tell which edition it might have been from (e.g. old vs new style original rubber bumper).

This cue design was later made into the Meucci 95-11, and the Meucci M-6, and Meucci HOF-1 pool cues (but those have the newer style Meucci logo).
