Mali Identification
I’m looking for information about this Mali Cue.
The model, year, and value would be appreciated.
Thank you.

billiardsforum on 4/7/2026 7:03:29 AMIt's a Mali Sneaky-Pete style pool cue.
I don't have the specific model , but the gold logo dates it to somewhere between the late 1970s to early 1980s.
The same design was seen in a later Mali "Traditional" series, as the #4 cue in that lineup. From that series, the cue would have a white logo and a wood-to-wood joint. Otherwise it's the same design.

It does have a wood to wood joint but has the gold Mali logo.
It has plastic caps that screw into the joint while not in use.
It was given brand new as a gift, around 1994.
Does anyone know an approximate value?
billiardsforum on 4/7/2026 7:33:09 PMOf the 29 Mali cue catalogs/brochures I have (spanning 1970s to the 2000s), your cue isn't in any of them, but I am missing bunch, so that doesn't mean much. The one shown above is late 1990s/early 2000s, so that is like the same model just with the more recent logo color (silver).
The retail price on the 1999 version of this cue (the Mali M-2) was $190.
The value of this Mali Sneaky Pete cue, today, would be somewhere in the $100 range in that condition.
Since the Sneaky-Pete style models were not as common from Mali, you may get a bit more for it if you found an interested buyer.
