Is This a Sampaio?

Is This a Sampaio?

Has "made in Portugal" stamp but no Sampaio stamp. Appears "made in Portugal" stamp was overlayed another stamp but hard to decipher.

Valuable?

You should inspect the main cue for a "Sampaio" stamp. They were usually at the top of the forearm near the joint collar. The "Made in Portugal" stamp typically went on the shaft (as seen in your case).

In my experience, Sampaio cues would have both stamps.

They can be very faint sometimes (as I think might have been the case with the "Made in Portugal" stamp on yours. It appears that the first attempt didn't land very well, so they went over it again.
