Info and ID for a "PALMER" Cue and find Year of Manufacture

Info and ID for a "PALMER" Cue and find Year of Manufacture

I have this beautiful "PALMER" cue and know nothing about it. I want to know everything I can about the cue, so if someone can give me some insight...

I bought the cue on eBay 6 months ago and can't find anything on it. It's a perfect cue, and I know it is old.

Would you know exactly what year was it produced?

I know it is a "PALMER" cue, but I need some info on it if someone can help.

It's an imported Palmer cue from after "Palmer Originals" went out of business.

I don't think the cue is as old as you think it is.

I am not sure of the model number or year of manufacture. They are cheaper lower-end cues, and I don't see many catalogs and/or brochures around for these lines.

With all that said, I think it's a great looking pool cue.

I found two others just like it though, in just a few minutes of searching. That tells me there are likely lots of them around.

The second one may have been repaired as there is no PALMER logo and the butt-cap is not original.

Thanks for the info on the Palmer cue. It is more than I already had.

Just to add to the prior response, this cue and others like it are "Palmer" cues only because someone who imports them from China has applied a label bearing the name "Palmer". When the Palmer shop closed in 1994, nothing bearing that name had any relationship with the originals.

Batches appear from time to time on eBay, sold under various new accounts based in Las Vegas.

Your cue could be as new as 2019 but likely no more than five years old.
